It's a super Walmart. But never really liked it much. They always seem to be out of what I am looking for most times
Needs more registers open and more employees willing to actually help someone locate an item.
Other WalMarts in other towns are infinitely better than this one. This is not a temporary situation. I live here and it has been this bad for years.
Pleasant friendly, & courteous check-out with CLEO! I WOULD GIVE HER A 10 OUT OF 10 FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! ***
I went to Kroger where there were multiple checkers who additionally were friendly. My test from this point forward will be, "Does anyone else have what I need?" If the answer is yes (and it always is) then I will go there.
Awful service, no help, no idea what they are doing. They have 30 registers but only 6 are open!!!!! Very weak store with no initiative. The lady who ran the jewelry department October 4th between 6 and 7 at night had absolutely no idea how to look up watch batteries nor did she know how to use her watch tools, so we had to use the tools ourselves . She claimed Walmart wouldn't allow her to help as well but in my past experiences they've been accommodating. Had to continue to wait for her to fumble around looking for the proper batteries until she decides to tell us to walk over to the battery section and look ourselves for a battery that is only with the watches then she jumps to another customer and then proceeded to converse with them as if they were friends . Even my go to hell look didn't work. I work in sales and her lack of commitment and knowledge was sad. Her bad attitude only shows why minimum skills get minimum wage. I normally don't complain but this was a special kind of lady who only needed to put forth a minimal amount of effort . Oh but the best part is when first arriving to the jewelry section there was nobody working in the jewelry section. I was told by another worker to go to customer service and request them to request her to come to her work station. Well a few minutes went by and she finally showed up just to put us through all that absolute Walmart hell ( we all know what that is ) and after finally leaving an hour later and fumbling with tools I've never used before , the intercom comes on and they finally request her to show up to her work station AFTER THE FACT. That plus a 6 year old to keep up with only broadens the stereotype that Walmart is a love hate relationship. Vicksburg Walmart needs alot of TLC but with the right attitude and effort , I truly believe they can finally have more than 5 registers open at a time . 12/17/17 I'm in here right now trying to check out and they have only 2 registers out of 26 open and about a dozen workers roaming around doing nothing . REALLY !?!?!! If I could give no stars for this review I would .
I just came home from this store. Hopefully for the last time in my life. As always there was exactly ONE checker... well always except when there are ZERO checkers. There were approximately twelve shoppers in line ahead of me. The employee I asked regarding opening more lines suggested it was not to be. She paged a "manager" for me to speak to but he, like the checkers, was not to be found.
