Staff was wonderful and helpful. Showed a genuine care for my mother who was ill and for me and family. Very courteous and respectful. I would recommend Merit Health River Regions Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi.
So, I came into this hospital with someone with something somewhat close to being very serious. It's been FOUR hours and we STILL have not been seen. The lady at the front tried to explain they had a slow and fast track but the person I am with is experiencing something that doesn't need to be put on slow track. So I am not understanding what the problem is! By the way, this is in the emergency department. I don't know the lady's name, but she is VERY rude and she was came in around 5 p.m. on March 9, 2017. I do not recommend this hospital.
Excellent nursing care and the physician was awesome. There was a wait for the ED but it is much shorter here than most places I've been and it to be expected if you come to an ED without a true emergency. Judging from the poor grammar and spelling in most of the negative reviews below, I think they need to be taken with a great deal of skepticism. I found this hospital to be top notch, at least the ED.
I arrived via ambulance in February 2014 for extreme back pain. I was not examined. I was told to simply "stand up and go home". I could barely move. I fell to the floor. I was screaming at one point. Well, lucky me. They brought me a wheelchair to help me leave. To this day, I suffer from reoccurring pain. It's almost 2018. They are lucky I was naive. I would have sued. I'm off work today because my back acted up again. I spent thanksgiving away from my family. But at least I was in a decent hospital. I can not describe in words how appalled I am at the care I recieved, however, in this "hospital".
They just want to get you in and out without caring if your taken care of. My wife has something pinching a nerve down her leg, and all they want to do is push her out the door.
