I wanted to like this place, but I was underwhelmed by the park and the views. There is potential here, but I'd recommend just stopping by the visitor's center.
Had more fun playing here then i did next-door at the boat. & it didint cost me a dollar.
Nice beautiful spot. Just watch out for the bad guys. Weirdos sometimes post up here
Spent 4th of July, touring and visiting this interesting city, it's history is awesome.
The 'Jogging/Walking pathway' has sunk down river embankment. The play area is Ok, lots of play features. Just Keep Your Eyes Open, Watching your children at all times! A few times I felt Uncomfortable bc of large crowds of ppl being loud using foul language & about to start a 'brawl'. All & all, a Decent place to go during spring & fall. Just be VIGILANT!
