Located atop a hill (with Papa John's literally at the foot), it's tucked back safely from the highway; security cameras everywhere for added safe feel.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, even classy! Very comfortable bed, every thing i the room worked, wonderful shower, quality hairdryer, ironing board and iron. This theme of a step above goes thru the breakfast choices including real (not powdered) eggs. The staff in the lobby and at breakfast reflect the effort to be excellent. All for a really reasonable price. We're been on the road for a month plus and some flunked, some were OK, this one was really really GOOD!
The lobby is warm & inviting; the pool is sparkling clean. To have an indoor pool at a MOTEL is awesome for cold weather long travel fun for the kids. (To be clean & operational = awesome!)
Provide cleaner rooms. The rooms stink. As soon as we walked into the room we smelled a strong musty odor like wet clothes or a wet dog. We stayed in one room for two night and returned a few days later and stayed in a different room. Both smelled bad. We had to buy a air freshener to stay there. During the second stay, I got up during the night to blow my nose and there was only one tissue in the box. I put a do not disturb sign on the outside of the door and housekeeping knocked on the door anyway. I always stay at this hotel and have for years, but not any more.

It is located on the hill just off the road and I missed seeing it at first. The Waffle House shares the entrance driveway. We plan to stay here on my return trip.
This Best Western has clean rooms, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast presentation, It is a two story motel with rooms that have entrances outside rather than in indoor hallways. This makes it look a bit dated, but the rooms are very nice and my wife and I were completely comfortable with the security. The room has TV with cable, a small refrigerator, microwave, comfortable love seat, desk and desk chair, and is well lit. Good wifi, at least in the room we had.
We were traveling home 14 hours and it was the perfect stop. Plenty of parking - great pool and breakfast was the best we had on the road for two weeks. Room was nice and clean and the staff was awesome. Only problem was someone smoking outside our door while we were unloading the car, but we were on the ground floor by the office. Not the hotels fault. Definitely keep this one for our next trip.
The breakfast is standard fare; hot eggs and meat are what I look for, so YAY for that!
K, the building is about 25 yrs old, but they've kept it up beautifully. Rooms are standard, comfortable, clean. TV worked fine; there's a fridge, microwave, and mini coffee pot (with decent coffee!).
But it's the people who add the icing on the cake! Special shout-outs to Pat (front desk), Thelma (breakfast attendant), Mickey (the late night front desk guy who let the kids have 15 minutes longer in the pool after closing time).
