Rooms were nice and smelled good. We missed the breakfast cause it's over at nine. Grateful to be able to bring our dog with no pet fee!
I live in South Louisiana so the hurricane (Nate) was the reason for the trip.
Comfortable, clean, and a good area for the dogs to run around a little. Breakfast is offered.
I am Grateful that I'm safe and the drive was beautiful however I was disappointed upon arrival!
Not very much at all for the price. Rooms could be a lot cleaner and definitely more spacious. This is a pet friendly place and as much as I love pets I also realize you have to clean accordingly ( It certainly seems like they do not from the smell). Also could use a lot of TLC!!
Room was OK, about what I'd expect. Service at the desk was fine. But when I got to the room, I couldn't watch the World Series, as that channel was blocked or removed from their package. I never even considered that to be a possibility, or I would not have stayed here. Guess going forward, I'll have to ask what channels the motel has before I check in. It's not like it's some minor TV show. It's the freaking World Series.. Jeez...
We had a good night sleep, a couple of good hot cups of coffee and a bite for breakfast.
Front desk attendant was eating in the dining area when we came in. Check in was quick, but the attendant was not friendly or personable. We stayed one night in a double queen room. The room, although spacious and cool from the AC, had an overly sweet smell that we attributed to flea treatments for their pet-friendly policy. The biggest issue was that we saw a cockroach on the wall within the first ten minutes of being in the room. The sink drain was broken, so we had to get the stopper out with our hands to let it drain properly. The shower drain was very slow and we were standing in an inch or two of water while showering. The beds had black bed skirts on them which made it easy to see numerous white stains on them. We didn't try the breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel.
