I have a construction company and we travel all across the country and often stay in motels for a week or more.
I always require a safe location with clean, spacious rooms at a very reasonable price. This Days Inn is certainly not a luxury or upscale motel, but it is quiet and meets all my requirements. I have stayed several times over the last few years.
I just wanted to let you know that I am extremely disappointed with the conditions and quality of service at Days Inn & Suites, 90 Warrenton Rd, Vicksburg MS.
Reserved a king smoking room, I got 2 double beds non smoking. Couldn't get Tv to work. If hadn't gotten here after 10 at night I would have went elsrwhere. Ice machine didn't work
When I was checking in the desk clerk could not pull up my reservation for a 1 King non-smoking apparently because the computer has issues or she does not know how to operate it. When I did get to the room it was a smoking room (Room 201) so I asked to change which she did to Room 111. My non-smoking room had cigarette burns on the bed cover.
When I was taking my shower in the morning after my poor check in experience, I noticed dark spots on the outside on the commode. When I cleaned it I discovered it was feces .
The WIFI is poor, the carpet is filthy.
Great view of the Mississippi River. Pricing was okay. Rooms were okay but in need of some serious renovation. Had a decent stay plus was nice to be able to have pets there due to evacuating from SW Florida during hurricane Irma.
Absolutely disgusting. If I could rate it a 0 or a -5, I would. Me, my best friend and my son were only checked in an hour and in that hour, I found a big chunk of hair in the headboard, so many holes in the walls & doors, scratches everywhere, cigarette holes in the curtains and sheets, and even gum on our comforter. We got a king size bed and they only gave us 2 pillows and 2 towels, no wash clothes. We called and asked for additional pillows and towels. We were brought 2 additional pillows and 1 towel and 1 washcloth. Had to leave at the point of finding the gum on our comforter. I would not stay here if it was the last place I had. We ended up leaving and we’re currently at ameristar literally right down the street and it ended up being $10 cheaper and 10 times nicer and cleaner. Also, the days inn looks NOTHING like the pictures.
