The room was very clean, nice size and at a good price. Had many restaurants and stores near it and many within walking distance. The pool was nice and clean. I just expected more from a 2.5 star 8 plus rating. The breakfast was good but wish they had a hot Meat to go with the scrambled eggs. The bed was lumpy and the pillows were FLAT. The sheets didn't stay on bed. Would go back and just hope the bed and pillows be better.
For the price I paid, it was better than expected. I've paid twice as much for hotels of this quality in the past. I would stay here again. I'd rate it a 3 star hotel.
This is the best under a hundred dollar hotel I've ever stayed in! It was clean very cold ac and not rock hard bed. The beds wasn't pillow top but their fairly new and the staff was super nice loved our stay! Oh also wanted to mention that we checked everything in our room under the beds in between mattresses and in every corner and like I said it was very clean and absolutely no bed bugs! We loved our stay and will stay here every time we get back down there oh and they have eggs and Belgian waffles and oatmeal and muffins and Kolochies and bagels and toast and jelly plus milk and juice on breakfast buffet every morning till 9:30am
I would give it a zero if possible! We weren’t given a key to our rooms (we had several rooms as we were in town for a wedding). To get into our room we’d first have to go to the desk so that an employee could let us in to our room.We weren’t given towels and when we asked for towels so we could get ready for the wedding we were told that there weren’t any clean! The CSR was the rudest bully I’ve ever seen in public, she came out from behind the hotel desk AT me threatening me and swearing at me in front of the owner no less! The owner did nothing. I think he was scared of her. The rooms were disgustingly dirty, there was blood in the bathtub from who knows what and the toilet was broken and overflowing. We checked out a few days early. There were some employees that tried to help and were friendly, I hope they go elsewhere to work as they deserve better. Also they tied up over $800 of our money for 5 days because they continued to swipe our card by “mistake” and every time they swiped it our funds would be put on hold. What should hAve been $60 was a little over $800. I was told that the hotel was under new ownership/management. They should probably close the doors until they do some very much needed work! Horrible experience and I would never ever stay there again and highly recommend that you find other accommodations when in Vicksburg
Pretty low quality, for the price. The rooms were smelly and dank, and it seems like no one cares about keeping them up. Blankets were flimsy, only 3 pillows per bed, curtains were stained and dirty, shower area was moldy and peeling, entry way light was burned out. Not nearly worth the $80 a night we paid for it. I wouldn't stay here again.
